Materials

  • Size 3.00 mm crochet hook
  • Size 4 yarn
  • Poly-fiber stuffing
  • Tapestry Needle
  • 8 mm safety eyes

Abbreviations

  • SC: Single Crochet
  • DC: Double Crochet
  • DEC: Decrease (2 SC together)
  • INC: Increase (2 SC in same stitch)
  • SL: Slip Stitch
  • Ch: Chain

Head & Body

Round 1: 6 SC into Magic Circle (6)

Round 2: INC in every stitch around (12)

Round 3: BLO 1 SC into each stitch (12)

Round 4: 1 SC into each stitch (12)

Round 5: BLO 1 SC into each stitch (12)

Round 6: 1 SC into next stitch, INC (18)

Round 7: 1 SC into next 2 stitches, INC (24)

Round 8: 1 SC into next 3 stitches, INC (30)

Round 9-12: 1 SC into each stitch (30)

Round 13: 6 DEC, 1 Sc into last 18 stitches (24)

Attach Safety Eyes and start stuffing. Attach eyes between rows 9 and 10. About 8 stitches apart.

Round 14: 1 Sc into each stitch (24)

Round 15: 6 INC, 1 SC into last 18 stitches (30)

Round 16: {1 SC into next stitch, INC (6 times)}, 1 SC into last 18 stitches (36)

Round 17-27: 1 SC into each stitch (36)

Start stuffing the doll

Round 28: 1 SC into next 4 stitches, DEC (30)

Round 29: 1 SC into next 3 stitches, DEC (24)

Round 30: 1 SC into next 2 stitches, DEC (18)

Round 31: 1 SC into next stitch, DEC (12)

Fasten off, finish stuffing and sew the doll shut.

Round 2: BLO 1 SC into each stitch (8)

Round 3-4: 1 SC into each stitch (8)

Fasten off and leave long tail for sewing.

Round 2: 1 SC into each stitch (6)

Round 3: 1 Sc into next stitch, INC (9)

Fasten off and leave long tail for sewing

Fasten off and sew onto top of pig
