Top Hat Boys!

Introducing some very fancily dressed boys! My top hat Tea Party boys! Inspired by the wacky tea parties from Alice in Wonderland, these boys were created with a fun design in mind. A fun top hat, Loopy hair and a removable blazer. There are a lot of possibilities for creation and design with this pattern. You can find the pattern on Etsy or Ravelry.

Top-Hat Girls are Finally Here!

After some time designing, creating, writing, testing and editing, the Top-Hat girls crochet pattern is finally available for purchase in Ravelry and Etsy!

Ravelry: Top Hat Tea Party Girls

Etsy: Top Hat Tea Party Girls

A few things about this pattern:

Works Up Quick

This doll works up quick! The testers of this pattern certainly enjoyed it. The instructions are very clear and there is no guess work with this doll. Clear instructions means more time crocheting rather than scratching your head!

Room For Creativity

While the pattern is geared towards making the example dolls as shown, there is room for your very own personal touches, what color boots, skirt or blouse? Which bead/pendent would you add to the vest. How about ribbons and decorations on the top hat? How will you style the dolls hair? This pattern allows you to add your own stamp on the doll you create.

Tested & Tested Again

This Pattern was tested for any design flaws, confusing literature and broken links. Testers say it’s well written, pictures are helpful and relevant to the pattern and links are not broken and safe to use. You will not be displeased with this pattern.

I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as the awesome pattern testers and myself do. Until next time –

Happy Stitching!

Top Hat Girls Coming Soon!

Just in time for Spring Craft events, these Top Hat girls would be wonderful to add to your craft table. The pattern is in testing as I write this! I’m very excited to get this pattern published.

These Top Hat girls are really simple and are actually very quick to work up. As with all my patterns, I want Amigurumi to be fun and easy.

I often hear From others about how Amigurumi is hard or some people feel like their skills aren’t good enough but I’m here to say, YOU CAN DO IT TOO! My patterns are geared towards beginners or even if you have never made many Amigurumi dolls, the patterns are very clear and to the point.

The best part about this pattern is the million ways you can color coordinate! I’m having so much fun making them. Soon, another edition will be added to the Top Hat collection.

Stay tuned for the pattern release announcement and the newest pattern on the work bench.

As always, Happy Stitching!

New Pattern Coming Soon

Whizzy the Dragon Sorceress is making her way into my newest of designs! Since I’ve decided to start selling my patterns, I realized that I should get super creative! I haven’t seen any other dragon like this anywhere on the web.

The pattern also allows to create a dragon with a few different features. Isn’t he cute? My sorcerer dragons are just so cute and don’t forget magical! I added a simple chain and cracked glass bead to create a mystical look. Looks like a magic orb? Or potion? Either way I’m loving it.

The pattern is currently being tested for any flaws, difficulty, and unclear instructions. I like to make sure my patterns are easily understandable and enjoyable to complete.

I will be looking forward to the pattern launching in my Ravelry and Etsy shops.

Thicket the Deer is here!

Thicket is making his debut!

Well, the pattern for my second “It’s Spring My Deer” pattern has finally be written and has went through it’s first round of editing. Soon enough, I will have it go through testing and revise the final draft. Creating Thicket has been a blast and I’m very happy to see my lady Deer have a Boyfriend. Thinking about giving her a name.

What should I name my Female Deer?

Hopefully I can come up with some ideas.

Don’t they look so cute together? The patterns will be released sometime in February. Just in time for Spring! Hopefully these dolls will make their way into an Easter Basket somewhere.

Please stay tuned for the pattern release. I am going to be having a huge pattern sale to celebrate their arrival! 50% off all patterns in the shop!!! You can’t beat that.

Until then, Happy Stitching!

It’s Springtime My Deer!

display 4I am pleased to announce that my newest pattern will be published in the near future. I’m very excited to release this pattern just in time for Spring!!! (Maybe a little early). This newest pattern is titled “It’s Springtime My Deer”. The inspiration for this pattern came from my love for Spring, Nature and Animals.

I live in the North where the winters are so cold and frigid. This year, the temps have been in the single digits with blistering winds and not even a promise of snow. So as I snuggle up with a hot cup of tea at night, after I lay my two girls to sleep, I started to wish for warmer weather so we can enjoy the outdoors once more. Being cooped up inside can really take a toll. So that is when I grabbed my hook and yarn and got to Stitching! This is what I have designed and I’m rather pleased.

So, this pattern is my dream of spring. Flowers in bloom, Nature enjoying the newly grown leaves and the sun breaking free from the overcast and freezing winds. “It’s Springtime My Deer” showcases Spring by the light pastel colors (If you choose to use them). Her dress is a three tiered skirt to resemble a flower in full bloom. I plan to embellish her with butterfly buttons and silky flowers.

Once this pattern is released, her male counterpart will soon be in the works. Thicket the Stag’s pattern will soon to be announced.

Her dress is made of so many petals! Inspired by flowers in full bloom! I chose to use a very light purple, second, a very light pink and lastly, a dark purple.

I also wanted to add extra details on her face. The little V stitches on her face really create the deer look. I’m just loving the way she looks!display 5

I’m just so excited for you to meet her! Links to her pattern coming soon!
